Chassis: specifically built in high-resistance material Domex 700 steel, two axles, front steering axle, rear steering axle during operation, rear axle fitted with electric traction motors;
Suspensions: independent on the four wheels, consisting of hydraulic shock absorbers combined with reinforced springs.
Transmission: traction should be exclusively done by 2 asynchronous alternate current electric motors of 4,5 Kw each, total power 9 kW in continuous service, with energy recovery system during deceleration and braking.
Steering: front axle steering during transfer, four-wheel steering during operation. Fully electric “Steer by wire” steering system, with steering handled by dedicated electronic control.

Electronic Hill Start Assist Control system that automatically keeps the brake on the machine when it stops on a slope during travel, for maximum ease and safety during hill starts.
Sweeping system: consisting of two counter-rotating brushes with vertical shaft positioned in front of the front axle to sweep the waste towards the suction nozzle between them.
Both brushes are powered by 2 electric motors, not by hydraulic motors.
The material must be fed into the waste hopper, which is kept in a vacuum by the centrifugal suction fan, which must never come into contact with the waste. The rotation speed of the brushes and fan must be adjustable by using controls in the cab.
Min diam. of side brushes: mm 850, each powered by electric motor.
Brushes side movement is controlled by joystick in the cab.
Suction nozzle: in material resistant to corrosion and abrasion, in AISI 304 stainless steel, with castor wheels and automatic opening system for the collection of bulky waste; width not below mm 600. Automatic lifting system for the nozzle by operating transfer mode and reverse gear.
Suction Hose: made in stainless steel and natural rubber, of maximum diameter mm 160.
Waste hopper: made in AISI 304 stainless steel. Minimum capacity 1 m3. Tipping system with high dump. Minimum tipping system height mm 1,600.
Dust suppression system: water-based, consisting of a clean water tank in material resistant to corrosion with a capacity of at least 350 litres without water recycling, a pump and misting nozzles located near the brushes, the suction nozzle and inside the suction hose; Double filtering system consisting in N.1 stainless steel filter panel in the hopper and N.2 side tunnels for the deep filtering of the dust.
Driver’s Cab: in aluminium, tiltable, must have 2 seats: driver and passenger, with adjustable anatomical seat, complete with seatbelt, side doors with opening windows, electric air conditioning and heating system with PM10 filtration system.
The cab must have a panoramic windscreen with wipers and electric screen wash system; there must be a glass inspection hatch on the floor of the cab that can be opened for inspecting the sweeping unit during operation.
Battery: lithium LiFeP04 (lithium Iron Phosphate technology), with total capacity of at least 1000 Ah 48 Volt (or) Lead Acid (standard maintenance) 1000 Ah 48 Volt (or) Lead Acid (reduced maintenance) 1104 Ah 48 Volt (or) AGM batteries 875 Ah 48 Volt.
Battery charger: External high frequency electronic battery charger must be supplied. Not on board.
LCD monitor + rear view camera: the sweeper should be equipped with a LCD monitor installed in the cab and a colour camera for rear view.
Greasing system: the sweeper should be equipped with a hand operated centralized greasing system.
Radial tyres: the sweeper should be equipped with radial tyres.
Speed during brushing: between 0 and 10 Km/h;
Transfer speed: from 0 to 24 Km/h;
Minimum sweeping width: mm 1,900 (mm 1,700 with reduced brushes mm 750 diameter)
